Welcome to November’s Creation Station blog hop. It’s great to have you visit me. This month our theme is ‘Perfect Packaging’. So how could I not join in?! I LOVE packaging – it’s my favourite thing to create. My gut feeling (having not seen anyone else’s project) is that you’re going to see lots of Christmas ideas – which is perfect for the time of year. However, Christmas isn’t all that’s going on – some folk still have birthdays right? In fact, someone you know has their birthday today…..cough, cough!
Yes, I continue the relentless march into my 40’s today. I’m spending the day with my family, and I know that if I receive a present in a Gift Bag like the one I have for you – I’m going to be one lucky lady!
Happy Birthday Gift Bag
Look at this DSP – it’s the Whole Lot Of Lovely collection and it is a whole lot of gorgeous! I was torn which pattern to use, but feel that this particular one needs an opportunity to shine – it should not be covered up!
I tied in the colours from the DSP for my card, Twine and sentiment.
The stamped and die cut leaves are from Oh So Eclectic & it’s coordinating dies; Eclectic Layers.
HOW CAN YOU MAKE IT?
This bag is made using a tutorial I created last year for Christmas Packaging. I’m re-releasing it for this Christmas. The papers are from last year, but the ideas will work perfectly with whatever you have in your stash.
Right, next up is Mikaela, whom I’m certain will have something gorgeous for you to look at:
Or you can go back to Sara:
