Another busy week here in our household! The last few weeks of term always seem to go that way! I’m trying to fit in so many things right now – it’s a constant juggling act. So with that, I’m finding my crafting time limited. Saving the day are regular challenges such as the Global Design Project challenge today. I find these give me inspiration to keep crafting, making some of the decisions for me at least!
This week it’s a colour challenge, and these along with sketches are my favourite. I love that certain elements of the design process are already decided and I can focus my time on other elements instead. I already knew I wanted to use the Host Reward set You’re Delightful too – so even more decisions made!
The challenge this week is a colour challenge:
I love this combination of colours and have even used in a project or two prior to this challenge – great combo GDP!
Thank you card using Stampin’ Up! You’re Delightful (Host Reward Set)
I love this Host Reward Stamp Set – which can only be purchased using Stampin’ Rewards. It’s a large greeting, a fabulous font – and the little emoji speech bubbles! LOVE!
WHAT DID I DO?
I started by mixing some Stampin’ Up! Embossing Paste with Berry Burst Reinker. I then applied this through the brick Party Pattern Mask onto a Berry Burst card base. While that dried, I made up my sentiment panel. The sentiment looks like its got a bit of an ombre look to it. I’d like to claim that this was deliberate, but actually it’s due to my Pool Party ink pad needing reinking! However, I loved how it came out, so I decided to go with it. There are no mistakes in crafting!
I used the Lemon Lime Twist for little accents on the card – love that little emoji!
You’ll need Stampin’ Rewards to purchase the You’re Delightful stamp set. You can earn these on orders over £150
You can also earn extra rewards if you order before tomorrow night – check all the details in yesterday’s post HERE.
