As soon as I saw the new Welcome Home Framelits in the Stampin’ Up! catalogue – I knew they had to be mine! And I knew the first thing I wanted to make was a cute little 3D house – a home decor piece! It’s not too hard to make, and I’ve included a video tutorial in today’s blog post. I have a major blooper towards the end that I’ve left in. Remember my motto – I waste card so you don’t have to! So let’s see it:
Stampin’ Up! Welcome Home Framelits
Isn’t it cute?! I knew I wanted the sides to be made using the Wood Textures DSP. This little house will tie in beautifully with the colour scheme in my living room. I thought you might like to see how I made it:
Did you catch my mistake before I did? Oh dear – but so funny! Remember – there are no mistakes in crafting!
You could make this in many colour combinations – just tie it in to the colour scheme of the room. Or how about making it as a little new home gift for someone moving house?
What a lovely sentiment in such a gorgeous font! And a lovely reminder to display in your home.
