I am taking part in the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop today! We are looking at the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Banners stamp set today. I haven’t used this set much yet, but it is a great one, and it’s sticking around for at least another year so lots more time to get it inky yet!
This set is obviously full of sentiments, it’s got you well covered and in a good size and font. Usually I would pair it with an imagery set, and I thought about that for this blog hop. But then I decided I wanted to show how you can make a card using just a set full of sentiments!
Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Banners
Of course, I had to sneak in some of those new In Colours too! I arranged a selection of appropriate sentiments onto a clear block. And being a photopolymer stamp set, you can clearly see where you are stamping! Once I had my set up, I then just stamped it repeatedly across my white card panel using Lemon Lime Twist ink.
I finished it with a die cut heart from Sweet & Sassy Framelits and a heat embossed Banner from the set, using the coordinating punch to cut it out. The ‘love you’ is made from two stamps, I cut the ‘you’ away from ‘thankyou’ in the set so I could make this combination. Yes, I cut my stamps up!
