It’s been a super busy week as I start sending out the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. I know my customers are dying to get their hands on it! Well, it’s not long to wait now as my cute packets go out in the post! I also received my Stampin’ Up! pre-order and the first thing I created was a project for this week’s Global Design Project challenge! I’ve decided to use Stampin’ Up! Wood Words, a seriously cute set coming 1st June.
Stampin’ Up! Wood Words
And here is what I made! Usually I have a bit of habit of going off base from the original sketch, but I think I stuck to this one pretty faithfully! Even those wonky lines! So, what do you think of Wood Words so far? Isn’t that background lovely?
WHAT DID I DO?
I stamped the background in Real Red onto my white base card. Then I cut a panel of Designer Series Paper from the new stack Wood Textures.
Next I cut a stitched circle from another pattern of Wood Textures DSP, and used a third pattern for a banner. I added the Cockerel in Real Red to the paper – and I love how the images in this set have a rustic feel to them. Gorgeous!
