So, I have spent a little time this week sorting out the craft room. Now I’ve seen the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue, it’s time to prepare my space. I like to remove all my retiring products from their homes. I select those I want to keep long term, then try and get as much as I can from the rest before finding them new homes once the new catalogue goes live! How do you handle your stamps? Do you keep everything? I know some people who do, but I just don’t have the space (or time!) to use that much stuff, so I have a good old sort out. I know I’ll be getting more things to love very soon!
Onto today’s blog post, and as it’s Thursday, that means Global Design Project challenge! I’ve decided to use some new products from the Eastern Palace Suite, coming in the new Annual Catalogue, but also available early to everyone from 1st May! I’ve combined it with one of favourite retiring sets too.
The challenge this week is a sketch challenge, and it’s one I really like! Here is the challenge:
STAMPIN’ UP! EASTERN PALACE:
And here is what I made! I use 2 of the new Stampin’ Up! In Colours – Tanquil Tide & Fresh Fig for my card – aren’t they gorgeous?
WHAT DID I DO?
I also used the new Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers – they are all the gold circle motifs on my card! They look so glamorous! Along with a gold tassel from the new Mini Tassel Assortment. All these products will be available from 1st May in two fabulous bundles of products from the Eastern Palace Suite.
The sentiment is from Mixed Borders – I’ll be sad to this set go. I love the font combinations in the sentiments and will them.
I’ll be sharing how I created this card in my Facebook Live Craft & Chat tomorrow at 10am GMT, so don’t miss it.
Whilst you can’t purchase from the Eastern Palace Suite just yet, you can check out Mixed Borders and loads of other products on the Stampin’ Up! Retired List. Some great products have already sold out, so don’t delay taking a look and seeing what is going that you love!
Once you’ve popped your new Stampin’ Up! goodies into your basket, don’t forget to add the current Host Code to it to earn loads of GREAT REWARDS from me.
JOIN ME FOR CREATE & CHAT!
I’ll be LIVE on the Stamping With Val Facebook Page tomorrow sharing how I made this card, along with my usual fun natter while we create – I hope you’ll join me.
Can’t make it live? No worries – just catch the replay!
