I’m feeling a little sad today. Today sees the start on Stampin’ Up! Onstage event. This event occurs every 6 months, with the main event cycling around the world and smaller events occurring in many other places. This time, it’s the turn of Europe to host the main event in Amsterdam – and I’m not there! Lots of my fellow demonstrators will be travelling and seeing the brand new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue over the next few days, and I’m a little gutted not to be among them. Still, I’ll be here with you guys, and we can have a little crafting fun of our own, yes? And as it’s Thursday, that means Global Design Project challenge!
The challenge this week is a colour challenge, and it’s one with an ‘add your own colour’ again! I found that particularly challenging last time, but I’m pleased with this week’s creation.
STAMPIN’ UP! HAPPY CELEBRATIONS:
And here is what I made! As you can see, I chose Real Red for my additional colour, and then made this very patriotic card!
WHAT DID I DO?
Well, I started with the Happy Celebrations stamp set to create the central cross. I then added Work of Art for the diagonal crosses. Finally I filled in with Happy Celebrations again with the Navy for the triangular areas.
I’m finding it a little tricky to explain how I made it, but no worries. I’ll be sharing how I created this card in my Facebook Live Craft & Chat tomorrow at 10am GMT, so don’t miss it.
