It’s Thursday and that means Global Design Project challenge! I am super loving taking part in their challenge every week. If you haven’t checked them out already, you should. It’s such fun every week to see what the challenge is and how I put my style on it and make it mine! This week, I decided that Stampin’ Up! Nailed It stamp set would be my go-to of choice for the challenge.
The challenge this week was to CASE Louise Sharp. Louise in one of the founder of the challenge, and she has a delicate yet impacting style that I adore!
STAMPIN’ UP! NAILED IT:
And here is what I made! I am totally in love with this set – especially the coordinating dies that cut out the tools! Too cute!
HOW DID I CASE LOUISE?
Well, first off I took the spotty background and used the Urban Underground Designer Series Paper to recreate that. Next up was the tag element – tags are a great shape for using on guy cards. I die cut my saw twice, once from Smoky Slate, then from Basic Grey to add the different colour to the handle.
One of my favourite dies from the Build It Framelits is the fabulous ruler/measure embossed border! It adds such a fun element to the card, but not over the top! I added it to the bottom edge of my tag then finished it with a Basic Black Twine bow and an Urban Underground Embellishment that looks like a screw to finish it off.
I’ll be sharing how I created this card in my Facebook Live Craft & Chat tomorrow at 10am GMT, so don’t miss it.
