Welcome back! We are down to our last now in my 1 SKETCH, 5 CARDS Series. I hope you’ve been enjoying it and can see how great and versatil card sketches can be. I’m convinced I could create cards for a whole month based on this one sketch! Today I’m using the Party Animal suite in my project – and it’s been great to use different products and suites all week long too!
This card is part of my week long series for you, 5 cards all based on the same CARD SKETCH! I love card sketches as a starting point for my crafting and they can be so helpful in getting your creativity going – especially if you start to think beyond the sketch. All this weeks cards are based on the sketch from the GDP challenge last week, and you can see my challenge entry card HERE.
Today though, let’s start checking out Card 5. With Party Animal, it’s a bright one!
1 SKETCH, 5 CARDS – CARD 2:
So I’ve kept the same orientation as the original sketch, but I’m still working with portrait cards rather than landscape. I admit, they are my preferred card base! This time, I’ve gone back to adding the bottom layer over the top, but it’s the Party Animal DSP over the Emerald Envy layer this time. I’ve got those layered and instead of adding a raised element like I have in my other cards, this time I’ve die cut a hole in that position instead!
I’ve layered the panel over a Pacific Point card base. Into the die cut hole, I’ve added a smaller die cut of the same shape, stamped with my sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Balloon Adventures. This time, the twine is tied to the Party Animal Embellishment – a little party hat!
