Hi! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend? Mine wasn’t bad, and I’ve even recovered from the girls sleepover on Friday night! All went well actually, and they didn’t chat until TOO late! And they didn’t wake TOO early, so all in all, I call it a success! It was fun to see them all enjoy the little surprises I had planned for them – and I’m sharing one of them with you today:
This is the matching set of cards & gift bags I made for my girls for their birthday. I wanted a totally non-christmas, non-winter colour scheme! So, I used my own colour inspiration HERE to come up with a fun summery theme for their cards.
As I have two to make, I tend to keep them the same and just switch a few colours around so they know who’s is who’s. I switched the Emerald Envy and Melon Mambo circle and twine on these.
I actually made 4 gift bags, one for each girls at the sleepover. Inside I had put some cute fluffy slippers, a sleep mask, some mini toiletries and a few sweet for them to snack on watching a movie. I think they really enjoyed the thought that went in to making the sleepover fun for them.
A GIFT BAG IS FOR LIFE, NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS!
Cute combo, right? As I always say, a gift bag is not just for Christmas! You can get the tutorial for this gift bag, along with 4 other bags and boxes in my Candy Cane Lane Packaging Online Class! The core design of the bag or box can then be used for any occasion you like! Once you know how, you’ll be making this bag design for every occasion you can think of! Get the tutorial quick though, as I’ll be retiring it in just 2 weeks, at the end of the year.
