Just popping in with a quick one today folks… busy, busy here! Here’s a quick shot of the Gift Bags I made for the Teachers Gift’s this year. I still wanted to stick with a Summery feel this year. I’m also mindful that the Stampin’ Up! year is starting to draw to a close (we’ve a couple of months yet though!), and I’m trying to use up my Designer Series Paper, knowing that it will retire at the end of September. So I hunted through the mound (!) of papers and found my pack of Flirtatious DSP, which is full of bright summer colours and bingo!
The girls had 4 teachers they wanted gifts for – their main teacher, two teaching assistants, and the teacher who fills in when their main teacher is having her non-contact time!!! Did you get all that?! Right, so on with the bags:
Here are the 4 bags I made. I came up with this design for a gusseted bag using my Simply Scored Board and Diagonal Plate, and I’m really pleased with how it came out. I’ve added Ribbon and Button handles, a design I’ve used on a few previous projects. I *think* that this Striped Grosgrain is going to retire in September and I shall be gutted if it does. I may have to lay in a supply!
Here’s a close up of the bag with the gifts. The photos were taken just as we were going out of the door, so they aren’t great. there was also a big pot of Body Shop Body Butter for them all too. I’ll show you close ups of the cards in the package another day. I don’t have a close up of the little box, but it’s the same as the Buddy Gifts, using the Petal Cone Box Die. It contains some Rosy Apple sweets as I know at least one of the girls teachers doesn’t eat chocolate! I know – weird!!
Right, I’ll be back next week with some more projects. Til then, have a great weekend and I hope you get some crafting time in there! Hugs, Val. XX
